Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a meat market, or a similar field. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products to sale in the store.

Duties:
- Use knives and other cutting equipment to trim, cut, slice, and grind meat products
- Package and label meat products according to company standards
- Ensure all meats are handled and stored properly to maintain freshness
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- Keep work area clean and sanitized

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a meat market environment is preferred
- Proficient in meat cutting techniques and equipment operation
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and packaging
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations

Skills:
- Understanding Meat Market operations
- Knowledge of the meat grinder
- Meat Clerk experience
- Knowledge of the band saw
- Meat cutting experience
- Food handling knowledge
- Package wrapping proficiency
- Strong focus on food safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Rotating weekends
